This Farmer's found a Wife!

In early January, Jack Kerr and Jo Leckie celebrated their engagement at Jo's family property, The Avenue. With their family outback properties, Tarella and The Avenue, bordering each other, their's is almost a "boy meets girl next door" story; even if their backyards are slightly bigger than the average!

The engagement party was a typical Leckie happy and fun-loving party where many friends and relatives from miles away gathered to celebrate the special occasion with Jack and Jo. To quote the happy couple: "It was a fantastic night".

Once the excitement of the party subsided, Jack and Jo resumed their busy schedule renovating their house in preparation to marry in Easter 2009. Jack is managing his family property with his Dad, Bruce, and has established himself as a very keen and successful certified organic grower, while Jo currently teaches at the Wilcannia Central School. Both are also great community workers and, as keen horse enthusiasts, play a major organisational role in the White Cliffs Gymkhana, one of the last remaining bush events in outback NSW, which has been held annually for more than 100 years.

Good luck to the gorgeous couple!
