Our new Rural Organics Ambassador

Alice McClure is our Rural Organics marketing and advertising ambassadress. She arrived in Sweden from Australia last week where she has commenced her journey through Europe with Eva, her Swedish 2006 Kona Ironman teamate.

Alice is biking, swimming and running her way through Europe, to Tuscany and into France. It is her first experience of Europe and will be a preparation for her Ironman championship event in Kona, Hawaii, in October. She is also taking with her our Rural Organics pamphlets and dropping them off as she makes her way. It will be a way of filtering some information about our specialist "outback Australian food and fibre producers" to the European consumers.

We will follow her on her journey through Europe, so keep an eye out for updates on this page.

Update: 9th July 2007
	Happy Birthday to Alice who turned 33 on June 23. It was also the longest day in the year, so not only did Alice have an extra long birthday, it also gave her extra time to make the most scrumptious strawberry cake we've ever seen! They made short work of it whilst sitting on the balcony, enjoying the soft light that lasts through to the middle of the night at this time of the year.
Whilst in Sweden, Alice ducked over to Copenhagen where she found this blue cow wandering through the streets. Not quite like the cows she was familiar with back home, but worth a picture all the same!

Update: 17th July 2007
	Switzerland may be neutral but it's far from flavourless, as Alice has discovered in the wonderful fusion of German, Italian and French cultures. Cycling their way through the country, they've marvelled at the splendour of the scenery and breathtaking landscapes. Next stop - Tuscany.
